Awesome SMA Classroom Air-Conditioning News!!! I am very happy to announce, just in time for warm weather, our PreK 3 and PreK 4 / K / Art/ Music / Italian classrooms are all now air-conditioned!!! This means all classrooms at St. Mike’s School are now fully air- conditioned! Thank you to all who contributed to our fundraiser SMA Walkathon last fall and special thanks to Mr. Ed Wood (an alumni of SMA School) for installing all the equipment in our classrooms. Awesome SMA School Play!!! Congrats to the cast and crew of "Mirror Image"!!! Best play yet. Thank you to all who came to see! We had over 400 attend! Special thanks to everyone who played a part to make it an awesome evening, especially Mrs Kuhl, Mrs Pinkham, and our DIRECTOR (The Queen!) Mrs Wurtz!!! SMA PreK / Cares Stars Certification Application Is Sent!!! Much work! (Three years!) Special thanks to Mrs. Karen Arocho (PreK Teacher) for all her efforts and training for the new STARS program! Next step is a visit to our school. Once the final approval is made we will be STAR Level l in the STARS Program for our SMA PreK and CARES Programs. Soon Kindergarten and a new SMA Child Day Care Center are in our future plans. This will also open St. Mike’s to receive federal grants and tuition assistance for our parents/guardians. Stay tuned!
