Saint Michael the Archangel School provides a morning and afternoon CARES Program for members of our parish school community who desire childcare.  Childre in Pre-K through 8th grade can participate.The program provides professional care, supervision and recreation for our children

About our CARES Program

CARES opens at 6:30 am until school begins (8:15 K - 8  and 8:45 PreK) and from (2:45 PreK) 3pm (K-8) until 6pm on day that school is in session.

On early dismissal days the C.A.R.E.S program will begin at 11:30
 
CARES is designed to complement the philosophy and values of Saint Michael the Archangel School and its families. There is timeset aside for homework, snacks, outdoor and indoor play, games and movies.Fees are for the sole support of the program and the school or parish does not subsidize it.

1.     There is a non-refundable annual registration fee of $25.00 per family.

2.     The fee is $6.00 per hour, per child, calculated per the number of hours used in the month. Please Note: CARES ends at 6:00pm. If your child is not picked up by 6:00PM, there will be a late fee of $5.00 for every ten minutes late.

3.     Payments are due the 15th of the month; if the 15th falls on a weekend then it is due that following Monday. Prompt fee payment is essential for this program to cover both salaries and supplies. ( A $15.00 charge will be assessed for any returned checks.)If a C.A.R.E.S. bill is not paid by the 1st of the next month, the child will not be permitted into C.A.R.E.S. until payment is paid in full.

** Please note: If school closes early for a weather-related or other type of emergency, C.A.R.E.S. will be closed!  If there is any delay in opening, there will be no morning C.A.R.E.S.

Drop off and Pick up- Only an adult named on the registration form may pick up your child. I.D required for pick up.

There is a sign in ledger for morning children and sign out ledger for afternoon children that must be signed by all Adults who are dropping off or picking up a child. This ledger is a legal document and must be signed by an adult, not a child. In addition to the signature of the adult, the time of drop off for morning and the time of pick up for afternoon is also recorded in the ledger. If the parent doesn’t record the drop off or pick up time the parent will be charged for the full time.

PLEASE PRINT OUT THE REGISTRATION FORMS AND SEND IN WITH YOUR CHILD ON OR BEFORE THEIR FIRST DAY USING THE PROGRAM.

THESE FORMS ARE THE ONLY WAY WE KNOW WHO CAN PICK UP YOUR CHILDREN AND IF THERE ARE ANY SPECIAL NEEDS FOR THE CHILD.
